SC WORKS

November 13, 2019 - November 24, 2019   Time: TBA

Please share this information with your organization, Facebook page and with the church congregation you are a part of.  I wanted to share the following information concerning SC Works because of the many opportunities this federally funded program provides.  Many individuals have obtained certifications in less than a year; 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months etc...depending on their career choice.

The program has expanded to the extent that a complimentary Career Coach bus and facilitator will be provided, per your request, to assist with onsite orientation to the program, scheduled for assessment testing and to answer questions concerning their Career Path to Success process.

The SC Career Coach is a mobile extension of our statewide SC Works centers. The mobile unit is geared toward job placement, serving rural communities with limited access to internet, a response to a disaster event, and resume, computer and interview training.

The mobile unit is equipped with 10 work stations for job-seeking activities, on-site assistance, Wi-Fi and printer capabilities, and is wheelchair accessible.  Click the link to access the calendar and request form; https://www.scworks.org/sc-career-coach

Please click on this link to view the mini video concerning SCWorks for the Sumter area;
